Proud Navy veteran still serving my country by transporting America’s goods on my back from border to border and coast to coast!
I enjoyed being in the USMC from Oct 2nd 1984 to 1988. Was injured a lot and applied for disability after getting out. Got 10% and was given a full ride to college and graduated from ASU with a small business degree. I am excited to work with more people and networks to help our military people who are in need now. The VA must get a lot better and we can deal with PTSD a lot more soon.
SDVOSB is 100% veteran owned and family run business, led by owner and CEO, Harrison James Kendall (U.S. Army - Operation Enduring Freedom, Forward Operating Base Salerno, Afghanistan, now 100% disabled combat veteran, verified by the VA). He established the business in 2017. After serving our country in combat with the U.S. Army, Harrison began his career as a 100% Service Disabled, Combat Veteran Business entrepreneur. Harry says, "We are relentless in our service to our clients, country, and community, and we are committed to hiring a diversity workforce regardless of Disability, Race, Gender, Sex, Health, Immigration status, Health, Education, and we prove it...every day. In that context, we have not let COVID crush our businessour community, we have worked every day for two years to make that a certainty."
Harrison Kendall and his team of Veterans, family and longtime professional associates are a profile in support for our Health, our Nation and our Citizens. He has not only hired Service-Disabled Veterans from the conflicts in Vietnam, Iraq, and Post 911, but he has supported them through the COVID-19 pandemic. His Patriotism and dedication to his clients in the United States, and health and education centers, and he earned his company SDVOSB Materials Technology & Supply LLC two (2) Opps4Vets Skin in the Game Awards and two (2) nominations for the International Facility Management Association's (IFMA) Award for Excellence in Innovation (the only Veteran owned company selected).
He was active in the New York University’s Veteran Futures Lab business incubator assisting peer Veteran company owners to succeed, grow and prosper. As a member of the American Legion Post 1291, the Veterans of Foreign Wars, and a life-time member of the Disabled American Veterans, Harry, as a 100% Disabled Veteran, has dedicated his life and his company ethos to the Community and for the United States of America.
Our human capital is the most valuable asset we have. The collective sum of the individual differences, life experiences, knowledge, inventiveness, innovation, self-expression, unique capabilities and talent that our employees invest in their work represents a significant part of not only our culture, but our reputation and company’s achievement as well.

No story, just a Marine and his brothers!
I'm a traditional servicemember, almost everyone on my Dad's side served in one branchanother. I used to tease Dad because I outranked him at our EAOS rates. I was a nuke and conventional electrician, although not a very good one. I've always been better at paper-pushing than wire-biting.
My wife’s name is Karen Nicol-Haukeli MM, BSN, RN, Marine Corps Brat, and now Marine Corps
Wife Ret. Aka: DOC Hawk, and I am MSgt Dale J Haukeli USMC Ret. Together, we are Screaming Hawks Customs & Classics. We are building a 1 off fully custom 1982 C10 to be auctioned off with 100% of the profits going to a veteran charity. Why? For me the reason is personal, I spent a lifetime operating/maintaining
military vehicles and equipment, and training Marines to do it in some of the worst
environments imaginable. Hone their skills to ensure their equipment could always
bring them home, even when home was just a Forward Operating Base in some
temporary corner of the world. Many of my friends and family that I thought returned,
actually have not. I prepared them to go and survive but not how to come home and
survive. Frankly I was lost for a little myself upon retirement, my boys went back and I
went home. I have convoyed my Marines from their families to Fiddler’s Green and
beyond in every vehicle creation imaginable.
I am now back from my inner emotion
convoy to find peace, at least that’s the
vocabulary I have to describe it now. I have
always found the best way that I can serve
those who have sacrificed, I will not stop
now. This project is important to me because supporting and giving back to others who are making the sacrifice for me now is important. “Here am I send me” Isaiah 6:8
